The catalog today

Partner catalogs are being added

Course matching opens as soon as the first partner university catalogs are published. Meanwhile, see how it works below.

How it works — four steps to a complete agreement

Choose your university

Search the partner universities by name, country or city, and filter by language and semester.

Analyze your courses

Review your study plan and mark what you have completed — the remaining courses are the ones you can take abroad.

Smart matching

For each remaining course you get ranked equivalent courses from the partner catalog, each with a compatibility score and a confidence level.

Build the agreement

Your choices become Table A and Table B with ECTS totals, ready to review and export as PDF or Word.

Why use the assistant

Official structure

Follows the Erasmus+ learning agreement layout: receiving and sending institutions, Table A and Table B.

Save time

No more comparing catalogs course by course by hand — ranked suggestions appear as soon as you pick a university.

Complete application checklist

Track every required document until you submit, and keep your files privately in one place.

Transparent scores

Every suggestion shows its compatibility and confidence level. You choose, and your coordinator reviews.

Not sure which university to pick?

Compare up to 4 partner universities by how many of your remaining courses each one covers.

Compare universities

Compatibility scores are estimates that help you decide — recognition is always confirmed by your home and receiving universities.

A guide to the Erasmus+ learning agreement

What to know before building your learning agreement: what it contains, how to read compatibility scores, and what to confirm with your university.

What the Erasmus+ assistant does

The assistant helps you prepare an Erasmus+ exchange semester: you choose a partner university, review the remaining courses in your study plan, and get ranked suggestions of equivalent courses from that university’s catalog. Your choices become a learning agreement with Table A, Table B and ECTS totals, and you then track your application documents until they are complete.

Table A and Table B

Table A lists the courses you will take at the receiving university (code, name and ECTS); Table B lists the home-university courses they will be recognized as (code, name and credit hours). Next to each line the assistant shows the compatibility and confidence level, and it flags low-confidence matches and ECTS totals outside the usual range.

Reading the compatibility score

Compatibility is a calibrated measure of how similar two course contents are, grouped into high, medium and low confidence. Use it to rank your options and start with the closest ones — not as a final verdict: read the course description and topics, and show the agreement to your Erasmus coordinator before signing.

Frequently asked questions about Erasmus+

What is an Erasmus+ learning agreement?

The Learning Agreement is the document the student, the sending university and the receiving university sign before the exchange. Table A lists the courses you will take at the receiving university with their ECTS credits, and Table B lists the courses your home university will recognize when you return.

How does the assistant match my courses with the partner university’s?

Each course description (name, description and topics) is converted in advance into a numerical representation by a multilingual language model that understands Arabic and English. When you analyze your courses, the assistant compares your remaining courses with the partner catalog and ranks the closest ones, each with a compatibility score and a confidence level. You choose the course — any suggestion, not only the first.

Does a compatibility score mean the course will be recognized?

No. Compatibility estimates how similar two course contents are; it is not a guarantee of recognition. Its quality depends on how well the catalog describes each course, and the final decision belongs to your Erasmus coordinator and the receiving university.

How many ECTS credits do I need per semester?

A full semester is usually worth 30 ECTS. The assistant warns you when the agreement total is outside 20–36 ECTS, but the required load is set by your university and exchange programme — check it before you apply.

How are credit hours converted to ECTS?

Converting credit hours to ECTS is institutional policy and differs between universities; the ratio the assistant uses is an approximation. Confirm the official ratio with your registrar before relying on the totals.

In which formats can I download the agreement?

You can download the agreement as a PDF, as an editable Word document, or as a draft PDF watermarked “DRAFT / مسودة” for internal review before signing.

Do I need an account, and are my files private?

Yes — a free account is needed to save your matches, agreements and application checklist. The documents you upload (PDF, Word or images up to 10 MB) are private to your account and are never published.
